Lower GI Endoscopy:

Changing the Boundaries of Retrograde Endoscopies

Enteroscopy

The Endo-Ease Vista® Retrograde is an innovative over-tube system that helps physicians overcome challenging colonoscopies and enables efficient intubation of the terminal ileum, so ileoscopy can be performed with ease.

Pushing a colonoscope through a long, floppy colon can be a difficult task. During colonoscopy, patients with this type of anatomy can contribute to excessive looping of the endoscope, which may result in an incomplete exam. Rotating the Vista Retrograde’s unique spiral helps physicians guide the endoscope and reduce the colon as the device makes its way through the bowel.

Difficult colonoscopies needn’t be further complicated by piecemeal polypectomy. With an Endo-Ease Vista Retrograde the endoscope can be used to remove large polyps through the Vista, while it remains in place to maintain position in the bowel.

The endoscope can be advanced or removed without altering the over-tube’s position. This feature allows the endoscope to pass through the terminal ileum for performing ileoscopy. The Vista Retrograde acts to stabilize the colon while the endoscope is advanced with little effort.
